Healthy Balanced Diet
The morning and afternoon snacks provided at the pre-school are healthy, and nutritious. Children that attend the pre-school from 7:30 am will have the option of breakfast until 8:15 am, with a selection of cereals and toast. Full Day and School Day children will need to be provided with a healthy packed lunch by their parents/carers. All children are able to access water throughout the day. We also provide cow’s milk for the children.
Health & Safety
Premises
Our pre-school is located in the Church Hall of Hatch End Free Church (Baptist) on Rowlands Avenue in Hatch End, Harrow. The building is safe and secure with an outside play area to provide care for children aged two to five years.
Security
Access to the pre-school is through a locked security door.
No admittance will be granted to the pre-school, unless a prior appointment has been made.
Equal Opportunities
At Rowlands Avenue Pre-School we treat all children and staff equally regardless of sex, race, religion, colour, creed, ethnic or national origin or any special need they may have.
Special Needs
We will do all we can where possible, to accommodate children with special needs. As the nursery is committed to encouraging all children’s development we would meet with parents and the children to discuss the best possible environment for the child to be integrated into. As with all children we will monitor their development and regularly observe and track the children’s development to ensure a broad and balanced curriculum is built.
Equipment
We have a wide range of equipment both for indoor and outdoor play which has EU/British Standard approval.
COVID-19
We follow the protocols advised by the Department of Education for nurseries and pre-schools.
